Point Reyes
February 7, 2009
Early morning fog on our way to Point Reyes
Taking the new car out for a ride
We are the first to arrive at the South Beach parking lot
Start of a nice stroll on the beach
There was a very high tide this morning
Leaving the first footsteps in the sand
Very big waves
The lighthouse in the background
Lonely souls on the beach
Playing with a big log
Running for safety
And there it is back on the beach
Old drift wood
An old farm house
We took the shuttle bus to Chimney Rock
The historic Lifeboat Station
If you look closely
you can see elephant seals on the beach
Beautiful California coast line

Another beach with elephant seals
Red rocks
The trail back
As close as you can get to them
What a life
Inside the Lifeboat Station
Main beach for the elephant seals
Despite a rainy forcast it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day
